This week, I oversaw the different programming tasks. At Wednesday’s weekly programming meeting, we all cleaned up code and started on fiddling with the camera perspectives out of orthographic. I also started working on figuring out how the UI will work with text screens and created a new Canvas manager for handling popup screens. I also assigned Hugo to work on the door again, as well as figuring out the UI system and Ian to creating a switch system. A large task I assigned to myself and Zac last week was creating modular tools for level creation. At Sunday, I was only able to work on a trail renderer for the player and more cleanup in code, since neither Ben or Zac were there. Git had also been a struggle this week as everyone had joined, causing many merge problems and commit reverts.
